Roger Kuhn Named NEXT Gay Superstar!

This weekend Roger Kuhn was named the NEXT Gay Megastar by a panel of judges of this years GLBT Expo in New York.  The contest was help over 3 days. 

We learned about his accomplishment soon after he won. Roger sent us an E-mail telling us what it was like to win such an honor! "It was a lot of fun and I feel honored to have been chosen.

"Now the NE2SS has the Sexiest Gay Alive (Kevin) and the NEXT Gay Megastar (Roger).  Rock on NE2SS!!!"

Kevin VanWanseele Named Sexiest Gay of The Year

NEW YORK, January 5, 2007 – Kevin Van Wanseele, one of the founders of NorthEast Two-Spirit Society and Treasurer, was voted Sexiest Gay in OUTzoneTV.com’s first ever Sexiest Gay 2007 poll, while Nate Berkus, won the title of Sexiest Celebrity and Jake Gyllenhaal won the title of Sexiest Gay-Friendly Celebrity. Bravo’s OUTzoneTV.com, the first-ever broadband channel specifically targeting the gay and lesbian online community, conducted the poll on its site from December 8 – 28. Nearly 500,000 votes were cast in the poll, and voting was based on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the sexiest.

Roger Kuhn

Singer/Songwriter Roger Kuhn is an enrolled member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. He moved to New York from North Dakota to pursue all of life's pleasure which for him include music (his CD, Proof, is available

Kevin VanWanseele

Kevin VanWanseele was born and raised for eight years on the Barona Indian Reservation in San Diego, Ca.  He graduated from New York University and received two degrees: Associate in Arts and Bachelor of Science for Communication Studies.  He specialized in Mass Media and took a majority of his classes in Film Production.   

After a few years working freelance on commercial and film sets, Kevin’s family reminded him of his purpose, to be a modern “storyteller”.  Fueled by the motivation of his people, he decided to embark on his own projects.  With video camera in-hand he has produced some of the most eye-opening documentaries about the social impacts and issues of being Native American.

Exclusively on ne2ss.org is the documentary Reserved Wealth produced by QMeY Productions directed by Kevin VanWanseele in its full and finished form. It is in five separate chapters. It is hosted by YouTube.com
