Come support our Pow Wow dancing teacher, and NE2SS ally, Louis Mofsie at the Thunderbird Pow-Wow this July 27, 28, and 29 at Queens County Farm Museum. (As you may recall Louis recently finished a series of pow-wow dance classes with the membership of NE2SS.) Louis is the founder of The Thunderbird American Indian dancers. We'd like all of you to come show your support for his humble support of our organization.
New York City 's oldest and largest powwow will feature three days of
intertribal Native American dance competitions to which the public is
invited. Over 40 Indian nations are represented at this spectacular
event held in the apple orchard on the farm grounds. A large selection
of quality Native American art, crafts, jewelry and foods are available.
